Electrode boiler humidifier Stainless steel electrodes immersed in conductive water creates an electric current, by applying a voltage on them, which boils water until producing steam. The quantity of steam produced is proportional to the electric current, which is in turn proportional to the level of water. Due to evaporation, the level of water decreases and its concentration increases as steam doesn't carry minerals. In consequence water needs to be refreshed. Electric Steam Humidifiers (Resistance) This type of electric humidifiers typically use immersed resistance heating elements to boil water. Since current does not pass through water, conductivity is not a concern. |
